If you’re reading this, know that you’re part of a miracle.
Love Without Traffic readers are no strangers to my periodic disappearing acts. But this time was different. Not only did I stop blogging for a while—my entire website vanished.
For seven months.
Apparently allowing your website to quietly fall off the internet without warning isn’t considered the best practice. Who knew?
In my defense, there was a lot going on.
As usual, there was a lot of traveling. There was a lot of change and grief.
There were unexpected creative projects that somehow spawned additional unexpected creative projects. There was at least one prolonged battle with technology that appeared determined to provide spiritual growth opportunities.
I wanted to share all of it here, but this time, it wasn’t just a healthy unplugging break that prevented me from doing so.
After years of periodically vanishing from the blog itself, the entire website finally decided to commit to the bit.
One day it was here.
Then it wasn’t.
For over half a year.
Oddly enough, I wasn’t particularly alarmed.
Life was unfolding in ways that required my attention elsewhere, and somewhere along the way what felt like a brief pause quietly became a much longer one.
The good news is that Love Without Traffic has officially returned from the dead.
The even better news is that life provided no shortage of stories while it was gone.
I’ve spent the last year creating a new website, exploring new projects, revisiting old dreams, healing old wounds, and accidentally starting something called Reflowerment®. It began as a silent question—and somehow evolved into a movement.
The question followed lunch with my first significant crush who wasn’t a member of Duran Duran. A man I fittingly saw for the first time since the 80s.
You may have to wait for a podcast for the full origin story. The days when this site routinely hosted questionable levels of personal disclosure ended long ago. But who knows…like the site itself has, those days may unexpectedly return by popular demand. It’s a really good story.
And the last time I shared one of those, it turned into a book.
On that note, for those anticipating the launch of The Relationship Ride as eagerly as I am, you’ll find book updates, my newer writing, current adventures, and the occasional unexpected plot twist on nancykoenig.com
Meanwhile, if you’re one of the wonderful humans who wandered back here after the Great Website Disappearance Event of 2025, thank you.
The site, which used to be so popular that it indexed, no longer comes up when I search for it. Sometimes something big needs to deconstruct to reinvent itself and if you’re reading these words, you were simply meant to be part of this miraculous site resurection.
It’s genuinely good to see you again.
You’ll still find the archives here, along with whatever future stories decide they belong on this site. As you know if you’ve been with me a while, the stories are writing my life, not the other way around.
